Laura Primary School is a small rural school in the mid-north of South Australia catering for students from Birth to Year 6.
The Laura Primary School has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, with Italian taught as a second language. The school has a proud sporting heritage and a rich local history. Laura B–6 has beautiful grounds surrounded by trees and spacious grassed areas.
Parent support is strong and the Laura students have a voice through class meetings and the Student Representative Council. The school has a strong and active Governing Council with community input highly valued by the school.
Students are very active, participating in a wide range of SAPSASA sporting activities as well as local sport. Arts are also highly valued with students participating in the instrumental music program, Gladstone Art Festival, local theatre and local dance schools.
