Welcome to Laura Primary School
Laura Primary School is a small rural Laura Primary School in the mid-north of South Australia.
The Laura Primary School has a strong focus on numeracy, science and literacy and teaches Italian as a second language. Many students take part in the University of NSW academic competitions each year. Rooms and grounds are spacious and well-equipped. Parent support is strong and students have a voice through class meetings and the Student Representative Council.
The Laura Primary School is an integral part of the community and participates in the ‘Laura Folk Fair’ which attracts up to 10,000 visitors annually. Students are very active, participating in a wide range of SAPSASA sporting activities as well as local sport. Students participate in the ‘East of the Ranges Choir’ and the instrumental music program.
Our staff continually undergo professional development to ensure their knowledge and skills remain up to date.
Currently we have a successful Christian Pastoral Worker program running which is funded by the Federal Government
